Colin has a background in machine design and product design, with an emphasis in custom systems. He also handles day to day operations of the company outside of the shop.
Gloria – CNC Programming/ Machinist
Gloria is a CNC programmer and machinist who has spent almost her entire career working in the world of custom machine design, necessitating multiple programs, setups, runs, and tear downs a day.
In nautical signal flags, the international sign of distress is conveyed with the flags Charlie and Golf, meaning, “Stand by to assist me.”The response signal from a responding ship is Charlie Golf One, which means, “Standing by, ready to assist.”
With both company founders having come from the US Navy and the company’s goal of helping with small batch jobs and customized engineering, the name CG1 Manufacturing was selected as a reflection of our goal: Providing engineering and manufacturing assistance for small jobs.
